Oy Vey!

Posted by Avram C. Freedberg

When we do new racing silks, we’ll have to put the picture of Cricket in bandages and add a fife and drum. Now, Conseated Lady, the remaining 2-year at Saratoga has a fever and a low white blood cell count, so they are rushing her to the NJ Equine Clinic. The low white count can signal several serious conditions. Let’s hope for the best.

In the meantime, Holy Blitzer was radiographed today and the Dr. will view her films on Monday. Arielle’s Song is being Ultrasounded to check on her lungs on Monday. Hopefully, we’ll have good news on all these fillies. Think nice thoughts.

Ofcr. Sheila T Rex had another nice workout at Saratoga. She’ll have two more breezes over the next few weeks. Then, Linda will decide what kind of race to enter her in.

We visited Ahvee’s Destiny today. She looks so much more mature and seemed quiet and happy. She ate several carrots, one sugar cube and snuggled with Rhoda a lot (me too!). It was a fun visit. I’ll send some photos after Mondays reports.

Happy Father’s Day!
