He has published twelve books and marketed the Original BeDazzler, the famous stud and rhinestone-setting machine. In 2005, he founded Maximum Entertainment Productions with Eva Price to satisfy his penchant for the theater. Giving back is very important to Freedberg. On behalf of National Collector's Mint, he has contributed more than $1.9 million to support charitable initiatives including various September 11 disaster relief funds.
